Elevated French cuisine
Orrery is a modern French restaurant in Marylebone, originally designed by Terence Conran. An ‘orrery’ itself is a mechanical model of the solar system that shows the relative positions and motions of the planets and moons. Using this as a starting point, we commissioned a series of planetary-like marbled prints inspired by the dishes and drinks available at the restaurant.
Avocado and crab
Grilled mackerel
Lobster and truffle

We collaborated with artist Jemma Lewis to create the series of unique marbled prints. Framed within circles, they are used across menus, coasters and artworks.

The logo references the movement of the planets around the sun with an animated version created for online use. Static versions of these ‘movements’ are foil blocked onto the business cards and bar menu.

The bar menu cover is debossed and foil blocked and features a series of bespoke patterns inspired by their signature cocktails.
A debossed planet-like circle is used on the wine menu. The textured light grey leather is a signature material used within the interior of the restaurant.

The original marbled papers were framed within circular mounts and used as feature artworks within the restaurant.
