Defining a space for skaters to roll

During the ongoing development of the Design District in London, we were asked to create a bespoke artwork for a large, temporarily unused area. North Greenwich is a popular destination for rollerskating, so the brief focused on encouraging skaters to utilise the space. Taking inspiration from 70s roller disco graphics, we created a bold typographic statement out of multiple lines to represent the different paths of skaters.

To reinforce the Design District’s creative spirit we commissioned signwriters Many Hands to hand paint the mural.
